The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold a virtual special called meeting on Thursday, December 18 at 12:00 p.m. for the purpose of taking action on the Jackson State University presidential search, including consideration of the leadership profile and related policies. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
Immediately after the meeting, the Health Affairs Committee will convene and enter executive session for a discussion of a strategic business decision related to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference or an online meeting platform. The meeting will be webcast on www.mississippi.edu. Members of the public and media may attend the meeting in the Room 108, located in the Paul B. Johnson Tower, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Miss., 39211.
