IHL Board of Trustees Moves to Establish Search Advisory Constituency in JSU Presidential Search

At the October 16 meeting of the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, a motion was made to direct Commissioner of Higher Education Dr. Al Rankins Jr. and Trustee Dr. Steven Cunningham, chair of the JSU presidential search, to move forward with the creation of a proposed list of individuals to serve on a Search Advisory Constituency. The Constituency will be comprised of representatives from various university stakeholder groups, and will work under the direction of the Board Search Committee.
