The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference or an online meeting platform. The Academic Affairs Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Teresa Hubbard, and the Finance Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Charlie Stephenson, will meet jointly at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to discuss various academic affairs and financial topics.
The Finance Committee will meet immediately following the joint meeting of the Academic Affairs Committee and the Finance Committee on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to discuss various financial topics.
This monthly meeting is being held as part of the annual Board retreat. Members of the public and media may attend meetings associated with the retreat in the Conference Center at Longleaf Plantation, located at 78 Baker Road in Purvis, MS. Executive Sessions may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
