UM CHANCELLOR BOARD SEARCH COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT FIRST ROUND INTERVIEWS

5/12/2009 - Jackson, Miss.

Members of the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) Board Search Committee for the next chancellor of the University of Mississippi (UM), chaired by Trustee Amy Whitten, will meet Sunday, May 17, 2009, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and Monday, May 18, 2009, beginning at 8:00 a.m., in the IHL Board Room in the Universities Center, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211 for the purpose of conducting first round interviews. Board Search Committee members will be joined by members of the UM Chancellor Interview Search Advisory Committee, a subset of the original Search Advisory Committee formed to review all résumés and recommend candidates to the Board Search Committee. A listing of the members of the Interview Search Advisory Committee can be found here. An executive session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
