NOTE TIME CHANGE FOR TODAY'S PRESS CALL FROM 10:30 a.m. CT to 11:00 a.m. CT today
On Wednesday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. CT (12:00 p.m. ET) The National Association of System Heads (NASH), in partnership with The Education Trust, will announce a major multi-state initiative to increase the number of college-educated Americans and ensure that graduates include far more young people from low-income and minority families. The 19 participating higher ed systems will be publicly pursuing aggressive goals aimed at improving overall student outcomes and, by the year 2015, closing by at least half the gaps in both college-going and degree completion that separate low-income and minority students from others.
