ONLINE LISTENING SESSION LAUNCHED FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI CHANCELLOR SEARCH

The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning has launched an Online Listening Session for members of the University of Mississippi community to gain input from university stakeholders on the qualities and qualifications they believe the next Chancellor should possess. The online survey is available and is part of the Chancellor Search website. The online survey will be open until midnight on Friday, September 6, 2019.

Members of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning heard from the University of Mississippi (UM) campus community in Campus Listening Sessions on Wednesday, June 19, in Jackson and will also hold Listening Sessions on Thursday, September 5, in Oxford, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom at the Inn at Ole Miss.

While all sessions are open to the public, each session focuses on the needs of a specific constituency group. A map of the Oxford Campus is available online.

The Board of Trustees selected Buffkin/Baker, a leading national search firm with offices in Nashville, Winston-Salem, Washington, D.C., and New York, to assist with the search. The firm specializes in executive searches in healthcare, digital marketing/advertising, technology, nonprofit, finance, higher education, governance and athletics.
