BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO MEET NEXT WEEK

The Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, May 19, 2016, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Members of the Board may participate in the meeting via teleconference. The Board and public may attend the meeting in Ballroom A at the Mill Conference Center at Mississippi State University, 600 Russell Street, Starkville, Miss., 39759. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Academic Affairs Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning chaired by Trustee Tom Duff, will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 to discuss university academic programs. Members of the Board may participate in the committee meetings via teleconference. The public may attend the meeting in Ballroom A at the Mill Conference Center at Mississippi State University, 600 Russell Street, Starkville, Miss., 39759. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Health Affairs Committee, chaired by Trustee Doug Rouse, will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 to discuss University of Mississippi Medical Center projects and priorities. Members of the Board may participate in the committee meetings via teleconference. The public may attend the meeting in Ballroom A at the Mill Conference Center at Mississippi State University, 600 Russell Street, Starkville, Miss., 39759. An Executive Session may be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.

The Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning governs the public universities in Mississippi, including Alcorn State University; Delta State University; Jackson State University; Mississippi State University including the Mississippi State University Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine; Mississippi University for Women; Mississippi Valley State University; the University of Mississippi including the University of Mississippi Medical Center; and the University of Southern Mississippi.
