Do some investigating – Some colleges may offer the same programs, but the quality can vary. Before you commit, ask some people their opinion of which school’s program is best. Naturally, it helps a lot to find people who are working in the career you want to pursue.

Tour the campus – Brochures and websites are great. But a campus tour is the best way to really get a feel for the place. Call the college’s admissions office to schedule an official tour. Or at least take the time to walk around campus on your own.
