Compass
COMPASS is a test that helps the college evaluate skills in certain subject areas in order to place students in the right classes. It is an untimed computerized test, so test results are available immediately at the conclustion of the test.
Some schools do not use the COMPASS for placement purposes; however Mississippi's public universities do use the test.
