Accuplacer
The Accuplacer is given at some colleges once a student has been admitted. It helps the college determine which courses a student should take. The test covers reading, mathematics, writing and language use skills.
The test is given by computer at the college. All questions are multiple choice, except an essay. The test is not timed.
The Accuplacer includes:
Sentence Skills: 20 questions
Reading Comprehension: 20 questions
Mathematics:
Arithmetic: 17 questions
Elementary Algebra: 12 questions
College-Level Math: 20 questions
Written Essay
