The Application Process

So, your child is ready to apply for admission. He also has to apply for financial aid, which we'll cover in the next section. And if your child plans to (or is required to) live on campus, he'll have to apply for housing, which is discussed in the sidebar.

Two important things:

1. Deadlines are important! Help your child understand the importance of applying on time, preferably long before the deadline. That way, if she discovers something is missing from her application, there will be plenty of time to fix it!

Check out our college calendar to stay on top of admission and other important deadlines.

2. Applications must be complete! Different schools require different things in the application. Our admission requirements page will tell you about the usual requirements and some extra ones, too.
