The Mississippi Commission on College Accreditation (MCCA) has statutory authority and duty to approve all colleges and universities or other entities that offer one or more post-secondary academic degrees and are domiciled, incorporated or otherwise located in the State of Mississippi. In preparing the list of approved colleges and universities, the Commission shall use its adopted standards, which are in keeping with the best educational practices in accreditation.
